School's out 4 the summer!

Here's a pic of Jocey with her preschool teacher Mrs. Nikki. We would be sad saying goodbye to her on her last day of preschool, if she wasn't going to be there again in the fall, but she is!!!!!!! I'm sad that she misses the cutoff for Kindergarten by ONE DAY!!!! I called the school district and her elem school and they have both told me more than once that there is NO WAY that she will be able to go to K this year. I tried everything, can she test in, can she go to private school for a month and transfer over, can she just go anyways??????????? No she can't. The part that makes me the most sad is thinking of all her friends getting on the bus and she just has to watch out the window and wait:( So in the fall she'll go to Mrs. Nikki's preschool and the BYU-I preschool.

Dog Jaw!!

On American Idol a few seasons ago, Mandisa played this joke on Ryan Seacrest, our family thought it was hilarious and we've been playing it ever since. The kids especially think it's funny. (tried to copy it and just put it in my blog but I couldn't get it to work!)

Our Garden

I just wanted to add this pic so people know that I actually do help with the garden, not nearly as much as J but I do help!
Alright!! we finally moved our excess (aka 3 times too much) topsoil so we could actually plant. On Sat we got all our seeds and all the plant starts that have been occupying my limited kitchen space for the past 2 months into the ground!! This pic is of J after we finally cleared out and raked through our topsoil so it was primed for our seeds. Then we dug the trenches, and put in the seed. We are so excited to see the fruits (or veggies :)) of our labors!!

Pot of gold

The other day it was raining while the sun was out and Jocey learned in preschool that when that happens you can see a rainbow so we went outside to look and found a huge, beautiful, double arch rainbow, it was so close we were sure we could find that pot of gold!!

Clean up- JJ style!

When JJ gets sent to his room, oftentimes he gets upset and as revenge he pulls ALL of his and Jd's clothes out of the dresser and throws them allover their room. Jerrod told him that he wouldn't be able to come out of his room until he cleaned up his room by putting everything back in the dresser. Well, that's what he did alright, he just put it all in one drawer!!!

To infinity and beyond!!

Thank you Auntie Lele for this awesome costume for Jayden!!! He got it in the mail today and made me put it on him before we left to the district office for JJ's imms. He's only taken it off for his nap and even then he snuck out of his room and put it on while I was downstairs!! I asked him if he wants me to call him Jayden or Buzz and he said, "Call me Buzz!"

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a wonderful day for me! Jocelyn came in with a Scrapbooking magazine and said, "Happy Holidays!" Then Jayden came in with a home decor magazine and said, "Happy Moiwief, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you!" Then JJ was running around the house trying to eat the candy he was supposed to bring to me. And finally Jerrod came in with French toast for breakfast in bed. After that we went to church and the primary sang us a beautiful Mother's Day song and they gave us chocolates, it was the best day ever!!

Even Superman needs a potty break!

I'm not sure how appropriate potty-training blogs are but these were to cute not to share!! I'm so proud of Jayden, he's doing an awesome job on the big-boy potty, we haven't had an accident in a week or so!! Yay!! I can't wait to scrapbook these pics, I'm sure he'll thank me for it when he's sixteen!

We went up to campus and took pics for Mother's Day at the horticulture gardens, I'm not going to post the ones we sent for our Moms until after Sunday but here are some that didn't make the grade! Nice smile JD-boy! Jocelyn's practicing her pirate face, and JJ's blocked by our shadow!! Obviously I'm not a professional! The pic of J and I that turned out pretty good was actually taken by Jocelyn, maybe she could teach me a thing or two!!

What we did this weekend

This is what we did on Sat, we got almost 16 yards of top soil delivered, Jerrod was sooooo excited!! Our garden is taking shape!!

Little JJ

He's crazy and we love him, here are a few of my favorite pics from the last month!! It's hard to find a time to take his pic w/o his finger up his nose!! He thinks it's so funny to pick his nose, he does it ALL the time!! What a cute little stud in his sunglasses!!

Our home sweet home!

This is our beautiful home that we moved into on Oct 19, so far we're loving being homeowners, probably because we've had no major problems to deal with!! Jerrod loved putting up christmas lights and trying to beat out everyone in the neighborhood, serious Nat'l Lampoons Christmas vacation flashbacks there!! This is a dreary pick from back in Nov. I'll have to get a better one when Spring finally comes!!
