Family visit!!

JJ loves Bella but he always makes her scream and cry for some reason :(
Jocey and Riley spent the whole weekend calling each other "Sis" and playing girlie stuff!!
Dad drove his new Jeep through our yard and got it stuck in the foot of snow so Kyle pulled him out with the trail blazer!!
We love shoes!!!

We had so much fun spending time together, playing games, having snacks, going out to eat, and doing what we love most-shopping-especially for shoes but I did introduce them to the world of Real Deals and needless to say it is their new favorite store!!!The kids had tons of fun playing with their cousins and my Sister and I had fun scrapbooking together!! Thanks so much for everything Grammie and Papa and Uncle Kyle, Auntie Lele, Kaleb, Riley, and Bella we love you lots and can't wait to see you again soon!!!

Snowfest

Snow bowling
Spraying pics into the snow!

One day a year, the community gets together for Snowfest! Lots of businesses and vendors in the area set up booths and games around the park, there are prizes, a polar dip (which J really wanted to do but it was too late in the day), sledding, hay rides, and hot chocolate!! We had tons of fun and the kids ask to go to Snowfest everyday!!!

Favorite Quote

I want to share this quote by the Prophet Joseph Smith, it is one of my favorites! "Whatever God requires is right, no matter what it is, although we may not see the reason thereof until long after the events transpire." I am taking a Teaching of the Living Prophets class on campus and LOVE it! I'm so thankful to have a prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, that leads and guides us the way the Lord would have us go! It gives me a sense of peace and comfort in a world with so much turmoil. Knowing that we are blessed to receive direction through the Prophet and the Spirit makes life better, even if at the time we choose to do something we may not know the reason, if it's right God will tell us and we will be blessed because of it!!

Ice Fishing

We were invited by our wonderful neighbors to go Ice Fishing. In my head I thought, "an iced over lake and JJ, not a good combo" so J and Sis went, while the boys and I stayed home. Boy, did they have an adventure!! They couldn't find the reservoir and asked like 5 different people before they finally found it, and during that time they got the 4x4 Yukon stuck in a couple of feet of snow and had to ask a nearby house to pull them out. When they finally got there they said it was so warm and nice they were able to take their coats off and enjoy. Our neighbors had purchased a hand drill and they were able to drill two holes into the ice in something like a half an hour so they asked a fellow fisherman to drill some holes for them with his power drill and they had 5 new holes in about 3 minutes!!! Sis' favorite part was getting the ice chunks out of the hole with the strainer! When they were done and packing up, Sis managed to step into one of the holes and had to strip off her boot and socks and our neighbor gave her a mitten to put on her foot and then one of the neighbor's daughters stepped into another hole that had been partly covered up!!! Things just kept getting better!! So they finally made it home, about 3 hours later than they said, with no fish to show for it!! But with a ton of fun memories!! Both Sis and J are excited to go again, I on the other hand, will probably offer to stay home with the boys where it's safe and dry!!!
