This little guy is full of surprises!!

It seems that every chance he gets, JJ is into something-the fridge, my purse, lotion, nail polish, etc. At night before I go to bed, this is the exact thought I have, "What do I need to put away so JJ doesn't get into it" and yet he still manages to find the one thing I miss. So, the other day when I hadn't heard from him in a little while, I went looking for the mess and I was pleasantly surprised when this is what I found. When he gets focused on a project he is determined!! He was so proud of his castle!! I love him!

Can't get cuter than this!!

e

I can't believe how big my JD boy is. Last Sun. as I was helping him get dressed for church I noticed his pants were to short so I looked at the tag and they were size 24mo. what the???!! So we went in search for some pants that would fit. Luckily JD is blessed to have Kaleb as his cousin. Kaleb is older than JD and very giving so as he grows out of his clothes, Auntie Lele passes them onto us, thank you! Among the size 4T clothes we found this adorable suit, he wanted to put it on right away and now wants to wear it every Sunday cause he's just like Daddy in his suit!!! Thanks again Sis and Kaleb, we love you!

Our Family Home Evening!!

We had an awesome FHE the other night, it was a lot of fun!! JD gave a great lesson on how each of us is a child of God and then he did a solo of "I am a Child of God." It was so inspiring that all three of the kids sang it together!! They did a wonderful job and sounded beautiful!! You can hear it for yourself on the video below!! Good job guys, We're so proud of you!! For our activity we did one of the kids' favorite things, hamper races!!(see video below). Daddy was in charge of treats and we made snow cones out of real snow, yummy!! We love family night!!

The Stable

Our good friends the Checketts have moved back to Rexburg and we are so thankful they are here. We love to play games, watch movies, and just hang out. They are a very talented family in many ways and thankfully they let us benefit from their talents as well!!! Kelly started his own construction company in the area and on Christmas Eve he brought his trailer full of tools over so he and Jerrod could build a stable for Jerrod's out door nativity set. Jerrod was in heaven, lets just say, what Roberts craft store is to me, Kelly's trailer is to Jerrod!! After they were done with that Kelly had some extra time so the boys ran to get some supplies and they built shelves in our game closet and above my washer and dryer!! Talk about the best Christmas present ever!! Thanks so much for everything Kelly. If anyone needs any construction work done, everything from stables, to building a house Kelly's your man!! And Jerrod would be happy to come along and help too!!

Happy New Year!!

I'm so far behind!! Happy New Year everyone!! We had a fun time for New Years Eve and New Years Day! For New Years Eve The Fields family came to Rexburg-Whooooo Hoooooo!! We were so excited to see B-Dawg, Kamara, Chloe, Tuff, & meet Broady, they are all growing and beautiful!! We had so much fun at the Thayne's party with lots of treats and games. I felt really old though cause I kept thinking, "it must be getting close, I'm so tired" and I would look at the clock and see that it was only 10:15pm then only 11:00pm, etc. So when midnight finally came we just gave a New Years shout and then headed home to put the kids in bed!! We're crazy, I know!! Of course I took zero pics w/the Fields (I'm such a dork) we love their family and miss them tons!! For New Year's Day we did some after-Christmas shopping and then went to play games with the Checketts. We love spending time with our friends and have so much fun, thanks everyone!! Hopefully this New Year brings you many blessings!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas

a

We always miss our family when we don't travel for the Holidays but we had a good time this year! For Christmas Eve we went to our neighbor's house for their traditional fondue. It was so delicious and fun! After dinner we acted out the nativity, everyone had parts and costumes and it was great! Then we each got to open one gift!! We had so much fun, thanks guys!! We came home and set out some cookies and milk for Santa and oats for the reindeer (we were out of carrots), put the kids to bed and stayed up until 4 in the morning wrapping and putting together presents-namely the kitchen from Papa & Grammie which had 46 steps in the instruction manual, what were we thinking!! The kids had so much fun Christmas morning and loved all of their gifts, thank you to everyone!! J and I got to have a little nap-ok, mine was longer than his, he let me sleep for my b-day which is a perfect gift for me!! For dinner we had friends over for a baked potato bar and it was yummy!! We had such a wonderful holiday and hope you all did too!!

For Family Home Evening the Monday before Christmas, Sis was in charge of the activity and she couldn't wait to be Mary in the Nativity story!! We had a great time acting out the story of the birth of our Savior and it really helped us keep in mind the reason for the season! JD was Joseph, J and JJ were wisemen and Mommy was the narrator/star of Bethlehem! We want our friends and family to know that we do believe in our Savior Jesus Christ and it is because of Him that we find peace, happiness, and joy in our lives, not just at Christmas but all year long!! Merry Christmas!
