Here he is about 3 hours into it with the front yard, the right side, and half of the back yard done, only 2 more hours to go!!
We had an estimate for a sprinkler system in our jungle of weeds and decided our pockets aren't that deep so J and a neighbor are going to do our yard and theirs all by themselves!! Today was trenching day, J was out in the yard for 5 hours with the beast of a machine (called "The ditch witch"). I'm glad he wants to be thrifty and a do-it-yourselfer and I'm very proud and impressed at how hard he's working and what a good job he's doing!!

How brave of you both! I think it is fantastic that you all are doing it yourselves. He looks so ambitious behind the the ditch witch! Keep us posted on how it goes.

We're at the same point with our yards. Dorian has been planning on doing the sprinklers himself, but it seems to be getting later and later. i guess we'll see what the bids finally come back as!
