Playin in the Rain!

We had a sunny rainstorm the other day and the kids were lovin' it!! They each got their swimming goggles on, so they could see in the rain (yeah, I don't know either, just go with it!!), and ran around having a great time!!!

Apple Brothers

Baby J loves to eat, just about anything. He also loves his big brothers and his big sister. These two boy were sitting eating their apples together and it was just too cute of a moment not to capture, especially the one of him looking up at his big brother, or rather-his big brother's apple, maybe he's wondering if he's going to finish it!!!

Making Cookies

The kids say that I'm boring but I can't figure out why, I love to do homework, clean the house, and do laundry, I have no idea what they're talking about!!!! Really though, we love to play games, have movie nights, jump on the trampoline, go on walks/bike rides, and read together but I don't always give them a chance to use all that creativity floating around in their beautiful little brains!! So I made up some sugar cookie dough and let them have at it!! It was fun, yummy, and they all did a great job!!

Mother's Day

It's so nice to have one day a year that is completely devoted to the women in our lives who work so hard to help keep us healthy and happy!! Yesterday was a really nice day at out house. The kids were eager to help and be kind, they gave me wonderful homemade books and cards, I got breakfast in bed, chocolates, J gave me a gift card to one of my favorite clothing stores, and a delicious dinner!! I'm grateful for my family, I love them very much! I wish it was Mother's Day everyday!! This morning when we woke up the first thing JJ said was, "awwwww it's not Mother's Day anymore!" I told him he can treat me like it's Mother's Day everyday!!!

Spring Cleaning!!!

I love spring time and the beautiful new life surrounding us! In our little corner of the world we don't really have a long spring, we have mostly cold winter and hot summer, thankfully our spring has been rainy and cold so we can stay indoors and spring clean!!!! i love to take that time once a year to really get down and clean the nitty gritty. The kids have been a huge help and so far in two Saturdays of working hard we finally have the kitchen and dining room done!! This Saturday we're on to the living room and bedrooms!! You might think I'm a slave-driver (my spring cleaning list is 3 pages long) but the kids are happy to help!! As you can see by the smiles on their faces while they are "mopping" the kitchen floor!!! Cleaning time is family time!!!
P.S. I promise I gave them rags with a soapy bucket to wash the floor, it was their idea to get the toothbrushes!!!

Baby Jacob @ 6 months!!

Seriously this little guy is a cutie and he makes us all smile!!! These pics and video are a month old but they're still cute and I wanted to share!

Fun stuff

Sis got these glasses from school and thought they'd look perfect on baby, what a cutie!!

JJ & JD wanted to watch Toy Story 3 and these aren't just any fans, they had to dress up and become their favorite characters!! In this pic JJ is saying, "There's a snake in my boot!" and JD is saying, "To infinity and beyond!"

Seriously, it's been 5 months!!!
